Summer Knitting. Garter Stitch Chevron Throw.


Knitting whilst sitting in the garden during the summer months is such a delight
and what could be better than a beautiful chevron throw to keep the summer
breeze at bay.

This fabulous hand knitting pattern for a garter stitch chevron throw makes a very quick
and easy summer knitting project. The process of knitting the throw in individual
chevron strips makes this versatile project easy to transport whilst work in progress.


Finished Size (Adjustable): 
The knitting pattern is written for a blanket/afghan/throw measuring 
91.5 cm x 122 cm. 36 in x 48 in. finished.
Materials Required: 
Aran or Worsted weight Yarn. 
Colour A. Biscuit: 400 Grams. 
816 Metres. 892 Yards. 
Colour B. Brown: 400 Grams. 
816 Metres. 892 Yards. 
1 Pair 4mm (UK8 – US6) Knitting Needles. 
1 Tapestry Needle. 
NB: Each Chevron requires approx 18 Metres. 20 Yards of Yarn, in each colour.
Knit in single strips of Garter Stitch. Knit every row. 
Can be knit to any size.
