Baby Hooded Wrap Cardigan Hand Knitting Pattern

A very special Baby Wrap.
This is a very easy pattern, perfect for the new to knitting.
If you can cast on, knit, increase and cast off, you can knit this fabulous little cardigan.
The hand knitting pattern is written for chest sizes:
41(46:51)cm. 16(18:20)in.
To fit ages: 0-3m(3-6m:6-12m)
You will need 2(3:3) x 100 gram balls of Baby Soft D.K. yarn.
1 pair of 4mm (UK8-USA6) Knitting Needles.
3 Stitch Holders.

ReplyDeleteI do not understand how the hood is sewn. Any additional photos or instructions?
ReplyDeleteYou need to take the hood cast off edge (at the centre back) and form a 1" pleat at each side of the centre back, this will form a 'T' shape at the back of the cast off seam. Stitch the pleat into position and then sew the remainder of the seam straight from the pleat at the back to the front of the hood.
