Simple Aran Shrug Knitting Pattern and Knitting Masterclass

It was a brilliantly hot sunny day last Sunday and we all enjoyed a rare opportunity to knit in the garden after lunch. Ann completed the knitting for her fabulous twisted rib cushion cover using a vintage rib stitch, just the buttons and a little bit of finishing to do!
Everyone arrived with fantastic amounts of bunting flags knit in preparation for the Holmfirth Arts Festival free 'Drop in Knitting workshop' which will be held on Saturday the 16th June. Still lots of bunting to knit.
The heat outside finally got to us and the Entrelac we'd started last month turned into a major puzzle, it's really not a good idea to put Entrelac knitting down for too long, or you can end up as I did and knit a cube!!
We all decided to start knitting my pattern for a Simple Aran Shrug.
It's a very easy pattern and easy on the brain!

Easy and quick to knit.
This fantastic shrug looks equally stunning worn with jeans or dressed up for the evening and because of the elasticity of the ribbed body one size really does fit all:)
Knit in one piece using Aran weight yarn on a circular needle. It takes just 400 grams.
