The Tea Rose, Tea Cosy Hand Knitting Pattern
We had a fabulous private knitting workshop at a friends house on Sunday.
Conversation and laughter flowed over morning coffee.
At midday we continued with a superb lunch of Pasta, olives and garlic bread.
All day the creativity flowed, knitting Tea Roses from the pattern for the Tea Rose, Tea Cosy, the rose petals moved swiftly from the knitting needles.
Knit in the round on 4 x 4 mm (US6) double pointed knitting needles.
This fabulous tea cosy is designed to fit a standard 2 pint tea pot measuring 46cm.18in circumference and 12cm. 5in. height.
The Tea Roses and leaves are knit on 2 x 4mm (US6) knitting needles.
You will also need 100grams of D.K. Cotton Yarn in Biscuit.
Small quantities of yarn in Pale Pink, Deep Pink and Soft Green for the tea roses and leaves.
1 stitch holder and a tapestry needle for finishing.
Very quick to knit and using a small quantity of yarn.
A perfect summer project for tea on the lawn :)
